Heber Simmons III is a founding partner of Simmons Dallas PLLC and a seasoned litigator with an exceptional breadth of legal reach. Licensed to practice in all federal and state courts in Mississippi and Tennessee, as well as the United States Supreme Court, Mr. Simmons is uniquely positioned to handle the most complex and high-stakes cases at every level of the judicial system. His practice focuses on medical malpractice, birth injury, personal injury, and toxic exposure litigation, representing clients across Mississippi and Tennessee with tenacity and precision.
About
Mr. Simmons earned his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1989, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Mississippi Law Journal. He has also served as an adjunct professor of Healthcare Law at the Else School of Management at Millsaps College, reflecting a depth of academic engagement that strengthens his command of the intersection between medicine and law.
Mr. Simmons has been named a SuperLawyer by Top Lawyers of Mid-South every year since 2012 and has served as Chairman of the Medicine and Law Committee of the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, and serves on Mississippi Bar Committees for Health Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Simmons has been an active civic leader through the Rotary Club of Jackson, where he has served as President, Vice President, and a member of its Board of Directors.
