Mr. Simmons earned his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1989, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Mississippi Law Journal. He has also served as an adjunct professor of Healthcare Law at the Else School of Management at Millsaps College, reflecting a depth of academic engagement that strengthens his command of the intersection between medicine and law.
