Mike

Dr. Mike Osborne brings something rare to medical malpractice litigation: more than thirty years of direct experience as a practicing head and neck surgeon. That clinical depth gives our team an unmatched ability to evaluate complex medical cases from the inside out, identifying failures in care that might escape attorneys without a medical background and building the kind of evidence-driven cases that hold healthcare providers accountable.

Throughout his medical career, Dr. Osborne has held numerous leadership positions at hospitals across the Jackson metro area, including Chief of Staff, Chief of Surgery, and Chief of Head and Neck Surgery. His commitment to patient care and safety has been demonstrated through active service on hospital committees including Medical Executive, Operating Room, Surgical Robotics, and Medical Ethics.

At Simmons Dallas PLLC, Dr. Osborne concentrates on the evaluation and pursuit of complex medical malpractice cases involving misdiagnosis, delays in evaluation and treatment, and incorrect or inappropriate treatment resulting in permanent injury or wrongful death. He also pursues litigation against healthcare institutions and providers involving medical fraud and abuse, including violations of the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA).
